You have the right at any time to obtain information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge. You also have the right to request the rectification or deletion of this data. If you have given your consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. In addition, you have the right to request, in certain circumstances, the restriction of the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

You can contact us at any time for further questions about data protection.

3. General information and mandatory information

Privacy Policy

The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal data protection regulations and this data protection declaration.

When you use this website, various personal data will be collected. Personal data is data that can be used to identify you personally. This data protection declaration explains which data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Information on the responsible body

The data processing controller on this website is:

PWM GmbH & Co. KG

Storage time

Insofar as no more specific storage period has been specified within this data protection declaration, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing is omitted. If you assert a legitimate erasure request or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have any other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, the deletion shall take place after these reasons have ceased.

Note on data transfer to the United States and other third countries

Among other things, we use tools from companies based in the USA or other non-secure third countries under data protection law. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to those third countries and processed there. We would like to point out that in these countries no level of data protection comparable to the EU can be guaranteed. For example, U.S. companies are required to disclose personal data to security agencies without you as a data subject being able to take legal action. It cannot therefore be ruled out that U.S. authorities (e.g. intelligence agencies) will process, evaluate and permanently store your data on US servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to data collection in special cases as well as direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)

IF THE DATA PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6 PARA. 1 LIT. E OR F GDPR TAKES PLACE, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS DATA PROTECTION DECLARATION. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA, UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING THAT OUTWEIGH YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS OR THE PROCESSING SERVES TO ASSERT, EXERCISE OR DEFEND LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION ACCORDING TO ART. 21 (1) GDPR).

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING, INSOFAR AS IT IS RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL NO LONGER BE USED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES (OBJECTION ACCORDING TO ART. 21 PARA. 2 GDPR).

Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, the data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The right of appeal is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in the performance of a contract to yourself or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place insofar as it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as a website operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Encrypted payment transactions on this

website

If, after the conclusion of a paid contract, there is an obligation to provide us with your payment data (e.g. account number for direct debit authorisation), this data is required for payment processing.

Payment via the common means of payment (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit method) takes place exclusively via an encrypted SSL or TLS connection. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

In the case of encrypted communication, your payment data, which you transmit to us, cannot be read by third parties.

Information, deletion and rectification

Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing and, if necessary, a right to rectification or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time for further questions on the subject of personal data.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the examination, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data happened/acted unlawfully, you may request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
  • If you have filed an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, a balance must be made between your and our interests. As long as it is not yet clear whose interests outweigh, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, except for storage, such data may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

Objection to advertising e-mails

The use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation to send unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby objected to. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

4. Data collection on this website

Cookies

Our Internet pages use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files and do not damage your device. They are either temporarily stored on your device for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or automatically delete them by your web browser.

Cookies from third-party companies can also be stored on your device when you enter our site (third party cookies). These allow us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g. cookies for the processing of payment services).

Cookies have different functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or display advertising.

Cookies that are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process (necessary cookies) or to provide certain functions you want (functional cookies, e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimise the website (e.g. cookies for measuring the web audience) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, provided that no other legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the respective cookies are stored exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR); the consent can be revoked at any time.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

If cookies are used by third-party companies or for analytical purposes, we will inform you about this separately in the context of this data protection declaration and, if necessary, request your consent.

Cookie consent with Usercentrics

This website uses Usercentrics’ cookie consent technology to obtain your consent to store certain cookies on your device or to use certain technologies and to document them in compliance with data protection. Provider of this technology is Usercentrics GmbH, Rosental 4, 80331 Munich, website: https://usercentrics.com/de/ (hereinafter referred to as “Usercentrics”).

  • Your consent(s) or the withdrawal of your consent(s)
  • Your IP address
  • Information about your browser
  • Information about your device
  • Time of your visit to the website

Furthermore, Usercentrics stores a cookie in your browser in order to be able to assign your consents or their revocation. The data collected in this way is stored until you ask us to delete the usercentrics cookie itself or the purpose for the data storage is omitted. Mandatory statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

The use of usercentrics is carried out in order to obtain the legally required consents for the use of certain technologies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.

Order processing

We have concluded a contract for order processing (AVV) with the aforementioned provider. This is a contract prescribed by data protection law, which ensures that it processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of server request
  • IP address

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your information from the inquiry form including the contact details provided by you there will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

The processing of these data takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, provided that your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) if requested.

The data entered by you in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete, revoke your consent for storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after processing your request). Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular retention periods — remain unaffected.

Request by e-mail, telephone or fax

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your request, including all resulting personal data (name, request) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request.

The data you send to us via contact requests remain with us until you ask us for deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular statutory retention periods — remain unaffected.

You can register on this website to use additional features on the site. We only use the data entered for this purpose for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise, we will refuse to register.

For important changes, such as the scope of the offer or technically necessary changes, we use the e-mail address provided during registration to inform you in this way.

The processing of the data entered during the registration takes place for the purpose of carrying out the usage relationship established by the registration and, if necessary, for the initiation of further contracts (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

The data collected during registration will be stored by us as long as you are registered on this website and will then be deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

5. Analysis tools and advertising

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. The website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, length of stay, operating systems used and origin of the user. This data may be aggregated by Google into a profile that is assigned to the respective user or their terminal device.

Furthermore, we can record Google Analytics, among other things, your mouse and scroll movements and clicks. Google Analytics also uses various modeling approaches to complement the collected data sets and uses machine learning technologies in data analysis.

Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The use of this analysis tool is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behavior in order to optimise both its website and its advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.

Data transmission to the USA is based on the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/

IP anonymisation

We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. As a result, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser Plugin

You can prevent Google from collecting and processing your data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

More information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de

Order processing

We have concluded a contract with Google for order processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographic characteristics of Google Analytics

This website uses the “demographic features” function of Google Analytics in order to be able to display suitable advertisements to website visitors within the Google advertising network. This can create reports that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of the site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google as well as visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this feature at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section “Objection to data collection”.

Google Analytics e-commerce tracking

This website uses the “e-commerce tracking” function of Google Analytics. With the help of e-commerce tracking, the website operator can analyse the buying behaviour of website visitors to improve their online marketing campaigns. Here information, such as the orders made, average order values, shipping costs and the time from viewing to the purchase of a product is recorded. This data can be combined by Google under a transaction ID assigned to the respective user or device.

Storage time

Data stored by Google at the user and event level associated with cookies, user IDs (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID) are anonymised or deleted after 14 months. Details can be found at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=de

Google Remarketing

This website uses the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Remarketing analyses your user behavior on our website (e.g. click on certain products) in order to classify you into certain advertising target groups and then play you appropriate web messages when you visit other online offers (remarketing or retargeting).

Furthermore, the advertising target groups created with Google Remarketing can be linked to Google’s cross-device functions. In this way, interest-based, personalised advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and surfing behavior on one end device (e.g. mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your end devices (e.g. tablet or PC).

If you have a Google account, you can opt out of personalised advertising at the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/

Target grouping with customer comparison

We use, among other things, the customer reconciliation of Google Remarketing for target groups. We transfer certain customer data (e.g. e-mail addresses) from our customer lists to Google. If the relevant customers are logged in to Google users and their Google account, they will be shown appropriate advertising messages within the Google network (e.g. on YouTube, Gmail or in the search engine).

WiredMinds

Our website uses the tracking pixel technology of WiredMinds GmbH (www.wiredminds.de) to analyse visitor behaviour. The IP address of a visitor is processed. The processing takes place exclusively for the purpose of collecting company-relevant information such as the company name. IP addresses of natural persons are excluded from further use (whitelist procedure). Under no circumstances will the IP address be stored in LeadLab. When processing the data, it is our particular interest to safeguard the data protection rights of natural persons. Our interest is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. (F) GDPR. The data we collect does not at any time allow a conclusion to be drawn about an identifiable person.

WiredMinds GmbH uses this information to create anonymous usage profiles related to the visiting behaviour on our website. The data obtained will not be used to personally identify the visitor to our website.

VOM TRACKING AUSSCHLIESSE (Um Sie dauerhaft vom Tracking durch WiredMinds LeadLab auf dieser Website auszuschließen wird ein technisch notwendiges Cookie gesetzt)

6. Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address and agree to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected or collected only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use to send the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you have stored with us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter or after the end of the purpose. We reserve the right to delete or block e-mail addresses from our newsletter mailing list at our sole discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

After your subscription from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address will be stored with us or the newsletter service provider, if necessary, in a blacklist in order to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

7. Plugins and Tools

YouTube with advanced data protection

This website includes videos from YouTube. The website is operated by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use YouTube in extended privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode causes YouTube not to store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. However, the extended data protection mode does not necessarily exclude the transfer of data to YouTube partners. This is how YouTube connects to the Google DoubleClick network, regardless of whether you watch a video.

Once you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection to YouTube’s servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, after starting a video, YouTube can store various cookies on your device or use comparable recognition technologies (e.g. device fingerprinting). In this way, YouTube can receive information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent fraud attempts.

If necessary, after starting a YouTube video, further data processing operations can be triggered, over which we have no influence.

The use of YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.

More information about data protection on YouTube can be found in their privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de

Google Maps

This page uses the map service Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer. If Google Maps is enabled, Google may use Google Web Fonts for the uniform display of the fonts. When calling up Google Maps, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and an easy findability of the places indicated by us on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.

Data transmission to the USA is based on the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/ and https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/sccs/.

More information on how to handle user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de

OpenStreetMap

We use the map service of OpenStreetMap (OSM). The provider is the Open Street Map Foundation (OSMF), 132 Maney Hill Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B72 1JU, United Kingdom.

If you visit a website on which OpenStreetMap is integrated, your IP address and other information about your behaviour on this website will be forwarded to OSMF. OpenStreetMap may store cookies in your browser or use comparable recognition technologies.

Furthermore, your location can be recorded if you have approved this in your device settings — e.g. on your mobile phone. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer. Details can be found in the data protection declaration of OpenStreetMap at the following link: https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy

The use of OpenStreetMap is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and an easy findability of the places indicated by us on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to check whether the data entry on this website (e.g. in a contact form) is carried out by a person or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time of stay of the website visitor on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.

The data is stored and analysed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its website from abusive automated spying and SPAM. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.

For more information about Google reCAPTCHA, see the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Use at the following links: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de and https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=de.

We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, content or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, which allows the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of this website (usage data) only to the extent necessary to enable or bill the user to use the service.

The collected customer data will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Data transmission at contract conclusion for services and digital content

We only transfer personal data to third parties if this is necessary in the context of contract processing, for example to the credit institution responsible for processing the payment.

A further transmission of the data will not take place or only if you have expressly consented to the transfer. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without express consent, for example for advertising purposes.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which allows the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Payment services

We integrate payment services from third-party companies on our website. If you make a purchase with us, your payment data (e.g. name, payment amount, account connection, credit card number) will be processed by the payment service provider for the purpose of payment processing. The respective contractual and data protection provisions of the respective providers apply to these transactions. The use of the payment service providers takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract processing) and in the interest of a smooth, comfortable and secure payment process (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). For communication with our customers, we use other online conference tools. The tools we use are listed below. If you communicate with us via video or audio conference via the Internet, your personal data will be collected and processed by us and the provider of the respective conference tool.

The conference tools collect all the data you provide/set to use the tools (email address and/or phone number). Furthermore, the conference tools process the duration of the conference, start and end (time) of participation in the conference, number of participants and other “context information” related to the communication process (metadata).

Furthermore, the provider of the tool processes all technical data necessary for the processing of online communication. This includes in particular IP addresses, MAC addresses, device IDs, device type, operating system type and version, client version, camera type, microphone or speaker as well as the type of connection.

If content is exchanged, uploaded or otherwise provided within the tool, these are also stored on the servers of the tool providers. Such content includes, in particular, cloud recordings, chat/immediate messages, photos and videos uploaded to voicemails, files, whiteboards and other information shared while using the Service.

Please note that we do not have a full influence on the data processing operations of the tools used. Our possibilities are largely based on the company policy of the respective provider. Further information on data processing by the conference tools can be found in the data protection declarations of the respective tools, which we have listed under this text.

Purpose and legal bases

The conference tools are used to communicate with prospective or existing contractual partners or to offer certain services to our customers (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). Furthermore, the use of the tools serves the general simplification and acceleration of communication with us or our company (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Where consent has been requested, the tools concerned shall be used on the basis of this consent; the consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

Storage time

The data collected directly by us via the video and conference tools will be deleted by our systems as soon as you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your device until you delete them. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

We have no influence on the storage period of your data, which is stored by the operators of the conference tools for their own purposes. For details, please contact the conference tools operators directly.
